Chicago Restaurant Week, which is designed to showcase restaurants’ offerings, draw visitors to Chicago in the winter and entice Chicagoland residents to venture out into the cold by offering better-than-usual values for some appetizing dishes, is upon us.
The 17-day food festival started Jan. 20 and runs through Feb. 5. This year, several north suburban restaurant are participating, and all entries can be seen at choosechicago.com.

- Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse, 933 Skokie Blvd., Northbrook.
- Oceanique Restaurant, 505 Main St., Evanston.
